Job Description: Centre Manager, Xsite Skatepark
Location: Skegness, Lincolnshire, PE25 1BF

Hours: 40 per week
Salary: £18,000 – £23,000 dependent on experience
Xsite Skatepark is a purpose built extreme sports centre opened in 2006 by the
Lincolnshire Extreme Sports Association. The association is a not-for-profit
organisation consisting of an indoor and outdoor skatepark that is well established on the UK extreme sports scene, and caters for skateboarding, BMX, scooters and inline skating. Also located within the skatepark is a café franchise and retail shop.
We are seeking someone with proven management experience along with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills to take the centre forward.
The successful candidate will develop Xsite and push the facility into the future. You will be able to research opportunities to expand the scope of what the facility offers as well as sourcing and applying for funding to turn these ideas into a reality. As well as this, you will be responsible for overseeing the creation of content for the website and our social media channels, organising events, securing sponsorship and liaising with the media and local press in order to further raise the profile of the centre.
Day to day, you will be responsible for overseeing the operation of the centre including customer care, overseeing budgets and line management of a small, enthusiastic team.
Previous knowledge of the extreme sports sector is desirable but not essential as training can be provided for the right candidate.
