Vans at the Manchester Tattoo Convention

The 2010 Manchester Tattoo Convention took place last weekend, and Vans were well and truly involved in the proceedings, bringing along the likes of Marc Churchill and Greg Nowik for a bit of mini ramp shredding and inviting the public to turn their hands to shoe design.

Have a look at the photo blog from the event below, with a mini ramp edit to follow soon…

Snaps and captions by Powley, skate shots by Jerome.

The one man demo Greg Nowik doing what he does best.

This is the quietest I’ve ever seen Marc, I think he’s drawing some skulls and severed limbs.

This was my idea but Heather drew it up, I’m stoked on how it turned out.

Rob Smith was the Piano Man.

Jed is back skating and doesn’t seem to have lost his pop!

Could this be any gayer? I think not.

Gregs face just scares me, in fact Greg scares me.

Probably the best entry ever – mosher goth pen attack.

Blatantly the best colourway ever.

Whatever you say about Churchill you can’t deny that he’s a looker.

Tez drew this Chode pro shoe up for me, I was stoked.
