Not that we ever really need a reason to present to you some classic Carl Shipman footage, but Stereo Skateboards second VHS release ‘Tincan Folklore’ turns twenty this year, so we thought we’d take this oppertunity to bring you Shippo’s legendary transatlantic section from the video.

The UK footage in the part is rumoured to have been filmed over the course of a matter of weeks by Ben Powell and Pete Hellicar, during Carl’s initial return to the UK in 1995. Thanks to lengthy legal and VISA issues, following the release of ‘Tincan Folklore’, Carl would unfortunately never be able to return to The States. Read more about Carl’s story here.
