This is the first of a two-part episode of Crates focusing on Brighton born ripper, original Bash skateboards (precursor to Flip) rider and general fucking ruler Luke McKirdy.
Episode 1 dates back to 1993/94 when Andy Evans had first moved to Worthing and became friends with Luke and crew. Luke was light years ahead of the curve back in the early 90’s, ripped on all terrains including vert, landed a bunch of UK and US mag coverage and could quite easily have turned pro and had a successful skate career had he wanted to. He chose a different path for his own reasons and was quite happy to kill it for his own enjoyment in the UK, and then over in Texas where he now lives.
