Skate Eire just released this banging part from the now American based Sherbert Dipdab AKA Mark Foran, filmed by the combined forces of Ciaran Hughes, Andrew Loughnane and Brian Fitzpatrick.
Wondering who Sherbert Dipdab is? Well, wondering no more. Read the following excerpt from Gav Coughlan’s Sidewalk 194 interview then take the part in with your wanton eyes…
Explain a little about where Sherbert Dipdab came from. I keep seeing photos, and when you speak to NOB he says he’s amazing…
(Laughs) Yeah he’s wearing a Frenchurch hoody, he doesn’t really give a f*ck, he’s just down to go skate constantly, he’s always shooting photos with NOB. He hung out with my friends’ friends or something like that, then he got introduced to us, we’d seen some footage of him which was sick and we thought “who is this guy?”. He’d been living in Dublin for two years but no one really knew him, then we ended up skating with him once. Every day he does something random or weird, like something that’s sick, though. When you go to a spot there’s always the first thing that someone sees is something obvious or easy, but he sees something completely different generally.
Is he part of the next generation of Dublin skaters that you see as the guys who are coming up next?
Yeah, but he’s the same age as me, he’s 23 as well.
Well, he’s more low key than you.
Yeah, but as I said, he’s from Enniscorthy in Wexford, which is a small town and there’s only really Gorey skatepark that he’d skate because it was close for him. Once he moved to Dublin he’d just skate around wherever, but now I try take him to spots where I think he could do something. He’s got wild pop and a weird bag of tricks, it’s not the same shit that you see from everyone.
