This things was stupidly good fun and everyone shot some decent stuff here, I just rolled up and down it. Chris Oliver took the worst slam here falling in head first.
Mini Tom Murray had the prescription meds hook ups. Getting anti biotics for James’ infected arm was a long job!
These things were much more fun than getting cabs. I think Chris came up with the name Pac Mans for them due to their side profile. You could get anywhere you needed to go for just a few quids.
What can you say about this man? Gorgeous Dave was the butt of much abuse all week mostly from me and James. He seemed to not adjust to skating in the heat too well but we love him all the same.
The Cubans loved Chris. He was like some kind of mischievous deity. He had the attentions of about 5 girls at any one time and DJ’d one night at a locals club.
Breakfast at the hotel was usually a quiet affair in two sittings – 8am those who hadn’t gone out, midday those who had. The coffee there was the best.
Chris and Che’s bike were inseparable from the second they met.
It rained about half the days we were there. No one really cared, they just sat under a tree and drank rum until it dried twenty minute later.
