The Nike SB European Series finishes up at the Berlin Open from the 8th to 10th of July, with a number of events taking at the Berlin Shelter indoor concrete park. London, Paris and Barcelona have already seen an incredible level of skating, so we have no doubt that Berlin will be just as insane. Check the edit and press release below…

The Nike SB Berlin Open is the 4^th and final stop of the Nike SB European Series 2016 which challenges skateboarders across Europe to compete in some of the most vibrant cities on the continent. Having already seen top level skate events in Barcelona, London and Paris the Berlin Open, 8 – 10^th July will be held at the concrete indoor Nike SB Shelter skate park where it welcomes amateur and professional skaters to compete for a €20,000 total prize purse. Alongside the Berlin Open, Nike SB will host a number of supporting events within the city, starting with the ‘Aus Berlin 2015’ photographic book launch and video premiere, a year long project documenting the city scene and activists through the prism of skateboarding. Free entry from 6pm at the Civilist store.

The #ProjectDSS cash for tricks is a laid back pre-event jam, just a stone’s throw from the Shelter. Berlin’s most famous & newly updated former DIY spot is likely to get a working from the pros in town – from 6pm.

2016 also sees a return of the popular ‘Fox Track Race’, a head to head battle around a figure of 8 track with tight berms and whoops. Highlighting the skaters with real flow, the Fox Track Race is destined to end in mayhem, collisions and a huge amount of fun and entertainment for spectators and skaters alike.
