The first Hog Hill downhill and slalom event of the year, The Crackling 2017, will take place over May 20th and 21st in Ilford with plenty going on over the weekend. Just two weeks to go before the first Hog Hill event of 2017 gets underway. “The Crackling” features downhill Head to Head Hybrid and Giant Slalom racing where Top racers from the UK and Europe will be battling it out for the coveted podium places and prizes.
There will also be Downhill Racing, Luge, Freeriding, Slide events and clinics running throughout the weekend hosted and run by DAS Industries and London Longboards.
We would love you to come along and enjoy the adrenalin fuelled action up close, speak to riders, meet our sponsors and generally take in “The Stoke”. There is an excellent café in the centre that will be open all weekend to slake thirsts and feed the hungry – food and drink to suit all tastes.
Things get going from 1.00pm on Saturday and 10.00am on Sunday and run through until 5.00pm each day.

22nd & 23rd July – Summer Swine Stomp 2017, Hog Hill
Dual Hybrid and GS + Vintage slalom board races – “English Tight” slalom course, gauntlet style racing. (Time permitting)
Freestyle – possible UK Round Up Comp – to be confirmed. Freeriding, Downhill Racing, Luge, Slide events and clinics.
14th & 15th October – Hogtoberfest 2017, Hog Hill
Dual Hybrid and Giant Slalom
Freestyle Jam/Competition.
Plus all of the usual Freeriding, Downhill Racing, Luge, Slide events and clinics.
End of year awards.
