Dan Cates “Lost in the Wilderness” Death summer tour blog – part 1

Back in August, close to the entire assembled Death Skateboards team hit the road to gather footage for their upcoming DVD release “Ordinary Madness”, shoot photos with Rob Shaw and explore some lesser trodden UK terrain. Each day this week we’ll be bringing you Dan Cates collection of snapshots from the trip, so keep checking back to see what this lot got up to!

The first round can now be browsed below, with more on the way tomorrow…

The first morning of the tour and Moggins emerges from his dwellings bright eyed and bushy tailed.
Filming legend Jake Shunt outside the tent of second angle man ‘Uxbridge Represent’ Greg while Boots looms.
Room mates for the whole trip. Cates and Benson. The joys of waking up on a football pitch in Plymouth!
First stop, the excellent Prime deluxe skate shop for ‘maps to the skaters homes’
Danger, danger, smith grind incoming… So hot right now.
Uh oh! Timmy has had a can of Monster, run for cover!
Steep, dark and rough? No problem. Boots is always ready to do battle.
The crew gets down to a well deserved critical eat down on the Death credit card.
After leaving sunny Plymouth, myself and Timmy found ourselves in a suburb of Birmingham that makes Compton look like Mayfair. At least the skatepark was good…
Another ruthless draining of the Death credit card, this time with tour guides Joxa and Daryl at a Coventry chippy. Good times, these guys rule.
The beast is awake and his sunglasses are still on his head. He also has a hyperactive freak of nature behind him. Thanks for the lounge space Joxa!
