To celebrate the launch of the Converse Cons x Kevin Rodrigues CTAS Pro Colourway, Kevin took to the streets of his native city with a camera in hand and the crew in tow to take some of the lesser sessioned lines to be had on the streets of Paris.

K-Rod has been a regular on our laptop screens for awhile now, with footage cropping up on Supreme’s Pussy Gangster, regular Converse clips and, of course, his ludicrous two song curtain closer to Polar Skate Co’s I Like It Here Inside My Mind, Don’t Wake Me This Time (pretty much unarguably one of the best full length videos of the last few years and a powerful two fingers from Pontus to those who say full length skate videos are now meaningless). However this clip to announce his new colourway sees the wall crawling maniac taking to the other side of the lens to capture some downright street destruction throughout the French capital with his crew, with plenty of rewindable moments and a solidly low key vibe bought about by the fact that the whole clip is filmed on what may well be a potato. A subtly ominous, feeback-drenched guitar riff adds another element to proceedings, showing that Rodrigues is as comfortable on the editing side of things as he is in front of the lens.

There’s plenty of highlights crammed into two minutes of shredding here, but the triple ride on grind/firecracker to mach ten scorpion slam alone means that this clip definitely deserves more than one viewing!
