After premiering at House of Vans last Friday, the Altar Skate Shop X House of Vans edit filmed during the shop team’s lock in there is now online in full. This lock in session (a now regular event at House of Vans so hit them up for details) also doubled up as a celebration of the shop’s eighth birthday, no mean feat for a skater owned shop born in the small town of Dartford so big props to Chris and the crew for smashing it for this long!
Having the skatepark which lurks in the depths of Waterloo’s Victorian arches opens up a whole host of lines which are otherwise unavailable due to cross traffic and also reduces the chance of your beer getting spilled by at least 50%, making getting one of these going if you get the chance a bit of a no brainer.
With Luke Sherlock, George Reilly, Nathan Staples, Leo Goodhew, Harley Dean, Ben King, Altar mastermind Chris Chambers, Sam Coe, Craig “Questions” Scott and Tom Youell the chosen crew to hit the street and miniramp rooms then you can be guaranteed that the pizza fuelled session went off…
Filmed and edited by Jake Martinelli.
Check out previous HOV Lock Ins below for an idea of why you might want your local shop to organise one!
