Lexus Hoverboards?

It is 2015, so somebody was bound to try it – and, after last year’s clip of Tony Hawk attempting to ride a prototype hoverboard, car company Nexus have taken the next step. Although not fully functioning – the board relies on magnets and a metal track to hover, as described here – a thin veneer of concrete lies over the tracks in this purpose built park in Spain, designed by our own Ross McGouran. This creates the illusion of complete freedom of movement and hopefully means we can expect an edit of Ross doing his best Marty McFly impressions in the near future.
