Camping with Carve Wicked in Spain

Yes, it sounds like the title of a dodgy 1970's situation comedy filmed round the back of Pinewood Studios but it is, in fact, the latest piece of 'content' from the boys at Carve Wicked. (Actually, is it 'Crv Wkd' or 'Carve Wicked'? I'll check with Pulley next time I see him).

For those unaware of this band of renegades - the quick synopsis is that Carve Wicked began life as a hand sign that denoted a commitment to high speed skating and was shared by Newport heads as they traveled around the world well, 'carving wicked' I guess.

From there, said hand sign turned into a vocal exclamation; often delivered through a shower of luke warm beer, that was used as a means to hype up any session that involved the founding fathers of the Carve. These included Sam Pulley, Jake Collins, Sox, Chav Dan and/or Danny Way (if you believe their own taglines).

Then, in June of 2017 the unthinkable happened and Carve Wicked, (or 'Crv Wkd' - you decide) metamorphosed into an actual skateboard brand with three pros (Sox, Sam Pulley and Colin Adam), a series of graphics clever and offensive in equal measure, and an understated mission to take over the transition-oriented market of what remains of the skateboarding industry.

Now that we've got that out of the way - you may as well watch this 8 minute video of said Carvers on a no-budget tour of the concrete skateparks dotted around Spain.

Along for the ride were honorary carver and Blind skateboards pro Sam Beckett and, if the rumours are true, the latest pro for Carve Wicked (formerly of Witchcraft) Mr Jake Collins, along with the customary crew of Pulley, Tom Bailey, Chav Dan and Beanhead.

Knucks to everyone at TWS for jumping on the Carve Wicked hype and getting this bunch of (predominantly) Welsh maniacs out to a global audience.
