Volcom presents 'Back to the 4', an event taking place on Wednesday the 23rd of May which will see MACBA get its fourth block back for an afternoon of what we're sure will be absolute carnage. A redesign of the area surrounding the Barcelona Museum Of Contemporary Art saw the legendary four block, skated by countless visiting pros and non pros alike over the glory years of Barcelona's "Skate Mecca" status, taken down a peg and becoming a three block.

This saw a corresponding drop in media coverage of the spot, with the fact of its already heavily rinsed ABD list combined with the fact that it was now 25% less gnarly seeing many filmers and photographers venture out of its confines onto the sprawling streets (which to be honest is no bad thing). One notable exception was found in last year's full length Krooked Skateboards video "LSD (Let's Skate Dude)", which saw both Brad Cromer and Matt Gottwig cobbling together a kicker to skate up the three, which in case you need telling, is bonkers.

With Transworld Skateboarding and Macba Life involved in the event and 10000 Euros on the line for those down to carcass toss, this is bound to be one of the best events of the spring European skate event calendar. Book your flights and start dreaming of cold Estrella's pulled out of a minging drain today...
