Following on from us posting 'An Ode to Blueprint Skateboards', a retrospective tribute to this once great British company, we decided to post a medley of Blueprint adverts that have featured in our fair magazine over the years.

Reading the mag each month, the Blueprint adverts would always stand out and the pleasure of seeing who or what would be the new ad always generated excitement. Have a click through to the right and let nostalgia wash over you.

1

Waiting for the World really did embrace British crust.

2

VHS cover which can also be straightened out into a DPS advert. Efficiency aficionados

3

This Nick Jensen switch flip is bonkers and the footage is unreal.

4

Team big ups, look at bambino Nick, awww.

5

Shier backlipping the chalky ledges, avin' it!

6

Back smith and an advert which gives a certain goretech impression. Agree? No?

7

Sequence and a still, have that cynics!

8

Vaughan Baker with the best nollie backside flip ever done, ever.

9

Scotty P front boards an English handrail, high and undesirable.

OG Dev green ripping from Mark Baines.

14

Shawdowplay on one of the steeper, curstier banks Scotland has to offer.

Channon King poppa large, big shot on the print coast!

Palm-dog foes the distance with this city of steel boardslide. RAW!

20

In LA now skiving on those cold winters.

21

Try this combo and cry you can't do it. Shier ledge dancing with one of the most lesser seen boardslide variations at the chalky ledges.

22

Smiffy getting gnarly twice in one sequence! Must have been gunning to turn pro, then again, then again.

23

It's always good when a miscellaneous obstacle infiltrates a spot. This bin had no idea that a marvellous swiss hiss would go down over it.

24

Belter of a backside flip in Hull. Scott is pure power.

25

A well dressed switch nosegrind performed by one Nick Jensen. Whatever happened to that skeleton hoody?

26

An advert that would soon inspire Mark Baines's trouser colour choice.

27

More Dev green love from Bainsey.

28

Danny Brady post bambino, pre full man.

29

Just to make sure he was keeping it real in the streets.

30

Rad graphic that one, Neil Smith oosts a nollie heel dowen Sheffield's Subway stairs.

31

Shier slides and twists on some desirable transition.

32

Banging backside flip on a spot which is gnarlier than it looks, so excessively gnarly!

33

Mirror tre flip at the OG bloblands. Yeah Vaughan.

34

Jerome is introduced to the team and blows everyone's mind in the process.

35

Talk about POP, Baines hits it switch, footage here.

36

The spots get smoother and the layers become less...

37

Elvis and spins, Smiffy loves the ghetto.

38

The fellas BGP had called a front noseslide on this wall and were going to 'do in' Jensen until they saw his shapes.

39

Brady is all too familiar with the concept of 'style' as demonstrated.

40

You've seen my studio apartment right?

41

Shadows and grime, London as you like.
