The Drawing Boards set off for their Northern 'Poo with a View' Tour for a week with a 8-10 man squadron, with the intention of foraging for new spots whilst gathering footage for the ever impending DVD release. The skateboard overlords were definitely on our side, providing seven days of sunshine. Chucking down tents in the Peak District and skating the reservoirs was definitely a highlight, as was meeting loads of rad Northerners. Big thanks go out to our man Si Bernacki for the amazing spot map, Chambers Skateshop for letting us charge our cameras and being general dons and Campus Skatepark for their rad hospitality (expect some footage to surface). We only had a photographer for a few days of the tour, but we're stoked with the results below.
Ash was keen as a beaver to skate this reservoir spot…or just keen to escape the mosquito-ridden campsite. He was up and knocking out tricks in the fresh surroundings of the Peak District before the rest the team had surfaced. RIP Isaac's cruiser that is now sleeping with the fishies...
Ilkeston full pipes
These full pipes were a real gem. Thanks to our tour guide Si Bernacki - an unsung hero of the Northern skateboard scene. Not only did Si point us in the direction of some of the best skate spots we had ever skated, but he also let drunken shenanigans go down in his house for a couple of nights.
