Wisdom 'Pulling Teeth' (1999)
What better way to kick things off than with Lee Rozee's part from Wisdom Skateshop's classic 'Pulling Teeth' (Paul Silvester's section needs a mention too) - best explained by fellow Bradfordian Doug McLaughlan when we used this one as a Sunday Service...
"Rozee man, this is some next level shit yeah, from the old days, from the days of the multi-sliders. When the curbs at C+A were doing some serious heavyweight grinding. What was Rozlet doing back then? Skating down from Queensbury to come to town, skate the C+A, he was dropping it. I don’t even know how to give this man props, you know I love the motherfucker. Another late 90s entry to the 'fast pushing Yorkshiremen' genre of skateboarding, Scott Palmer closes Adi Broadhead's 1998 Hull scene video 'Mission ImpossibHull' with an eight minute mission of street destruction.
Dayzed and Confused (2011)
Rory McKenzie's latest Leeds scene video 'We Out Here' hit the web a couple of week's back, but here's one of his from back in 2011 - Jason Brown in full swing here and you can check out the full video for pretty much everyone who lived in Leeds around that time.
Baghead Flats (2008)
2008's Baghead Flats featured a wide array of Yorkshire heads including the one and only Doug McLaughlan, whose UFO-scored section of all terrain cruise control is still on regular rotation here...
