Vague Skate Mag presents 'Vin' by James Harris - a collection of Bristolian shredding which also acts as a celebration of the birth of his son Vincent - for which congratulations are definitely in order! Squeezing in as much filming as possible before the birth means that we're treated to a solid four minutes of shredding around that corner of the South West.
From the well loved confines of Dean Lane and the newer gnar pits and Bath and Bradley Stoke, to Daveside DIY, a sketchy wood and metal bank to wall set up and the winding streets and hills that make up Bristol's street spots, an effort has been made to cover all bases here. Sacrifices are made to the skate gods - in the form of ritual early grab shit eating down a double set - and are rewarded with heavy stunts, particularly Clev's ender!
This beast of a clip features Pete Carron, Will Stradling, Jess Young, James Griffiths, George Hill, Bear Myles, Mark Pritchard, Francis Peters, Scott Whittaker, Ryan Price, Edwin Shattock, Leon Clark, Josh Arnott, Nicky Howells, Phil Parker and Andy Coleman.
Peep more from James Harris in his recent one two hit Community parts one and two, his recent remixes of his footage from both a 2010 Venture trip to Kent and the Shiner 2010 Big Push and of course his rad 2016 Bristol scene video Little Paradise, which featured parts from Jess Young, Andy Coleman, Nicky Howells, Ryan Price, Josh Young and Dave Snaddon as well as various other locals and visiting heads. Read more about the full length in the interview we did with James at the time;
"I’m not going to say that it was an easy ride, I can’t even begin to imagine the total time spent filming and the money that was spent on petrol, plane tickets, train tickets and food by everyone. Not to mention the various health issues! We didn’t set out to make any money from the video, we did it purely to create something physical that people could hold and keep on their shelves, rather than an online video that could be potentially forgotten within a week."
