BEN KOPPL - HONEYMOON PART
Skate stoppers, rain, actual rocks, double board action and leg splitting manoeuvres, this guy is breaking rules big time. In a similar likeness to Gou Miyagi, this guy is Seattle Style roller surfing (or skiing – check recent Instagram clips of his) on boards and on whatever comes in his way or to mind. Just when you thought skateboarding had been completed, keep an eye out on this guy’s super-fast foot fist way.
SKATE WITCHES – SRSLY THE TRAILER
Just watch it will you…and then watch the full thing once it comes out too. It’s going to be super serious skating – as serious as a ‘How To’ skateboard training vid, not!
ATLANTIC DRIFT – EPISODE 1: LONDON
With dreamy visuals and some of the UK’s best alongside a couple of France’s finest, this first episode of Atlantic Drift is easy on the eyes whilst gnarly on the London terrain. Featuring spots you’d never consider as all that stand out skateable alongside a few familiar stomping grounds turned on their head, this one’s a beaut.
It’s almost like going to a UK skate comp when some of the fave heads have been unearthed from somewhere, to all get together in an indoor skatepark in a hard to find industrial area with no nearest train station closer than a 20min walk away. Instead Kev Parrot, Morph and Rye Gray have collated a grand collection of some of the most notorious UK skaters we all love to watch getting gritty with the best surfaces and terrain the UK has to offer - suitable for a DVD player or YouTube view near you.
CARVE WICKED: SOX
I always love watching this guy skate. Hard to track down but when you stop looking for him he’ll find you first! Popping up all over the world showcasing his effortless elasticity on a board, with an array of creative tricks on tranny and streets, this guy is one of my absolute faves. The recently turned pro for Carve Wicked always keeps it fun with the best smile going – if you’re lucky he’ll be heading to a town near you.
