The Streetys Are Ours Episode 3

After the strictly indoor, sheltering from blizzards theme that ran throughout episode 2, a slowly emerging spring made filming The Streetys Are Ours Episode 3 a much less claustrophobic experience for all concerned. This one has mostly been captured on weekday missions around London, taking our pick from the capital's sometimes disconcertingly wide array of skateboarding locations whilst surviving predominantly on lukewarm lager and packets of toasted corn (give me chilli and lime flavour or give me death).

An aborted mission to Crystal Palace saw Felix Parker perfecting his street lube technique at Peckham Rye - a dying tradition handed down from generation to generation which, with the advent of good quality candles, may one day be lost forever. We also ended up at Mile End on multiple occasions, hitting the lesser skated transitions there - I fucked up filming a banger of a 'street to bowl' line by Lloyd Clipston unfortunately, so you won't get to see that - as well as a conveniently placed old door that Lloyd and Leo Macdonald Oulds took a definite shine to. A couple of failed street missions ended at The Undercroft, where Leevi Kerkelä laid down a solid line with minimal fuss so we could get to the pub faster (that was back when it was way too cold to lurk at Southbank for long once you were done skating).
Of course, the ever improving weather has seen a return to The Spot - that iconic DIY build that constantly howls for sacrificial blood to be spilled. The Scottish tag team of Aaron Wilmot and Kieran Menzies battled out a couple of tricks on the latest rugged piece of The Spot's skyline despite interference from Kieran's dog Pip, while Lloyd and Filippo Baronello got stuck into putting down some wooden bank tricks before I talked them into a session on the OG 'Howard Cooke frontside pivot' area.
Peep both episodes previous for more shakily filmed skating from whoever happens to be down for the mission...
