Pixels TV had roving lensman Danger alongside Tylre Wilcox on hand to cover the Vert Attack XII Pro-Tec Opening Night session carnage, with a globe spanning cast of vertical maniacs making the most of the ever building hype which these sort of events bring. From vert fetuses spinning 900s to OG's like Dave Allen still punishing the coping, and with everything in between from padless Clay Kreiner madness to Sam Beckett's ridiculously smooth ability to piece lines together, even at this early moment in the event then we can tell that it's going to be something special. Vert Attack is the kind of comp that even the most ardent of street enthusiasts can't help but take notice of, so we're excited to see what appears over the course of the weekend footage-wise. Keep an eye on Pixels for more!

The UK looks to be well represented this year, with Jesse Thomas, Sam Beckett and Dave Allen joining Bucky Lasek, Rune Glifberg, Clay Kreiner, Édouard Damestoy aka Frenchi, Auby Taylor, Shea Donavan and more in an all out assault on the Vert Attack ramp - including a gnarly new obstacle in the form of 'the Death Goal'. There's even been a few Andy Scott sightings and we're hoping for a few more, depending on how he's feeling after the brutal slam that The Black Sheep dropped on Instagram yesterday...

Vert Attack XII officially started yesterday evening with the Pro-Tec Opening Night and as ever, it went off! There were limited edition Pro-Tec X Vert Attack helmets up for grabs that could be earned by simply impressing the judge, Wingy. Check out the likes of Bucky Lasek, Sam Beckett, Rune Glifberg, Clay Kreiner, Édouard Damestoy aka Frenchi, Auby Taylor, Shea Donavan and many more go in on the U-Pipe. Also, a big thanks to everyone who skated and made the Opening Night as special as it was! Filmed by Tylre Wilcox and Danger Rob. Edited by Danger Rob.
