After nearly a week of exploring skateable terrain across the West Country, finally the tour in search of the Canna Ramp reaches Boardmasters and the ramp is found - slightly lashed by rain, mildly scourged by sea winds, but found nonetheless; and when did a little weather stop anyone from getting some?

For the majority of the 'In Search of the Canna Ramp' trip - from treacherously icy miniramps in Taunton to perfect backyard bowls in Tiverton, and from avant garde indoor park construction in Saltash to the brand new, incredible Concrete Waves Skatepark in Newquay - the weather had been kind to us, with only the hint of rain in the middle of the trip not amounting to more than twenty minutes drizzle. It was only at the beginning of Boardmasters (luckily for me after I'd had to abandon ship due to prior engagements) that the British summertime displayed what looked like an impressive return to form.

Luckily the weather wasn't a constant throughout the weekend, with the skies clearing for long enough that the full event could go on once some rescheduling had been hastily organised. Therefore, you can see plenty of Canna Ramp shredding alongside previous stops on the trip in the video at the top of this page and scroll down to find a list of the competitions results. Roll on 2019's search!
