Sunday Service: Harry – Unabomber ‘Headcleaner’ (2001)

Harry the Bastard, AKA ‘Alan Cuthbertson’.

There’s not a great deal to say that hasn’t been said before – originally from the North East though he has lived all over the UK; a well read, thoughtful beast of a human with far too much pop and the ability to leap over, into or onto quite literally anything.

Harry was one of the original members of the Unabomber squad, staying there right up until it’s demise following the release of ‘Up The Rebels’ in 2004. In 2005, the company was relaunched with a new team, consisting of Ben Grove, Tom Watts, Liam Sproat and Frank Stephens, with Harry firmly installed behind the scenes, taking charge of everything from shirt designs to adverts. This new look Unabomber released one DVD ‘Urbane Mob’ in late 2006, after which Harry took on the role of team manager for Flip, which saw him relocating to The States for a handful of years before returning back to the UK and rooting himself in the familiar city of Nottingham, where he still lives today.

Cast your waiting eyes upwards in order to experience, appreciate and enjoy Harry’s still incredible section from the 2001 Unabomber VHS ‘Headcleaner’. And pay close attention – I think it’s fair to say that this entire section would still stand up if it was released today…
