“Queeny and the Boys” – Oxfordshire scene action!

Oxfordshire scene radness awaits – read the blurb then get watching…

“Here it is, the result of our Summer Skate Project.
This film was made by young skaters from across Oxfordshire. We organised four jams which they had to win to qualify for the week, then threw cameras at them and this is the result. All filmed and edited by under 19s.
Throughout the week we paired the skaters up with a few special guests to help their skating along, push them and inspire them. Hopefully we did just that.
For those of you who took part in the jams and didn’t quite make it onto the filming week, there is always next year, which we have already been guaranteed will be bigger and better!
Is this project all new to you? The Oxfordshire Skate Series was hosted by The Sport for Streets Initiative, who offer opportunities for young people to take part in non mainstream sports and offer them a platform to be inspired and get involved in running a project for their local community. Zak Rostami and Olly Ross did just that this year and secured funding for this to go ahead.
Find out more on Facebook or ‘The Sport for Streets Initiative’ website.
Lastly thank you to SS20 Skatestore, without them this film wouldn’t have happened. Great support from a local skateshop looking out for young people in the sport. Listen kids, ALWAYS BUY LOCAL! Independent skatestores do give back! See for yourselves!”

Enjoy “Queeny and the Boys”….
