Blueprint “Make Friends With The Colour Blue” premiere blog

Sunday night saw the world premiere of the long awaited Blueprint production “Make Friends With The Colour Blue”, so obviously the attention of the entire UK scene was placed firmly upon our nations capitol as heads from all over the country rolled into town to show support.

It’s safe to say that the video – in no way, shape or form – disappoints, so make sure you get along to the nearest stop of the Blueprint MFWTCB tour that heads out around the country today to witness it for yourself. If, for whatever reason, you can’t get along to any of the dates, the DVD ships April 26th, so get those pennies at the ready!

The next few pages contain a random collection of nonsense, snapshots and footage from Sundays proceedings, so have yourself a peruse and start to get hyped! Keep an eye on the Blueprint site for more updates and whatnot…

Mad props to Shier, Magee and the rest of the BP boys for a rad day – now get out there and support!

The day started with a long ollie contest down South Bank, which turned into a general hangout/drinking session/catch up. Shier was back in the country, on the megaphone and playing the role of official hype man.

Crowds gathered.

Having wrapped up Square One just before Xmas and helped complete filming for MFWTCB, Jake Harris left the camera at home for once, opting instead for a skate and a well earned beer.

Tom Knox and Neil Smith – turns out they share more than just this photo.

Smithy again, this time dropping hammers that make Brady lose grasp of his Blackberry.

I missed Karim and Jerome’s reactions to the Harold Hunter kicker to kicker slam, but I reckon it looked a little something like this…

Visi-tor, say no more. Raemers and Gorm.

North East and North West – Horsley and Mackey.

Scotland and Wales – Colin Kennedy and Chris Jones.

Joey, Will Harmon and Snowy – check Coakley’s stoked face on the right hand side.

Chez was keen for the pre-premiere pints.

Keeping it Sheffield for a moment, Joel Curtis was in town – now a proud father of two. Congrats boss!

Ahh, why not? More Sheffield – Jerome Campbell on a street beers tip. Wait til you see his section.

The one and only Thomas Henry Harrison…

…and again, with fellow Leeds brethren Leon Bottomley.

Always a pleasure – Morph!

Chewy, holding it down for the Gorleston massive!

Rob appeared. And strangled Mackey.

Have a bit more Sheffield – Chez, Arthur Tubb and Baines.

Hang on, Sheffield was all over the place! Sam Ashley – go check his exhibition!

Seb Palmer gets a dose of Mackey’s trademark enthusiasm – you don’t get the label ‘Hype Man’ for nothing!

Scottish skateboarding legend Cubic – Monkeys in a Van round 2 coming soon…

Fos was in the hoose, fresh back from Japan.

Superman has re-entered the building!

Ali Drummond dropping the very uncharacteristic middle finger.

I can’t tell if Lucy Adams is growing or Lex is shrinking, but the height gap is definitely becoming less noticeable…

Brewster watches guard whilst Snowy has a piss. Random, I know, but sometimes you need to get blogging in the bog.

Rory and Lucien take their seats.

MFWTCB – Hold Tight approved!

Magee and Shier introduce the fruits of five years of hard graft.

Matt Hirst – It’s been far too long since this dude put an appearance in!

Always the last man standing – Mackey, obviously!

Russell Cowling made the trek to London, now you all have to make the trek to Colchester on April 24th in return.

Skinner, Tom and Lee Stewart – here’s a photo I never thought I’d be taking!
