Last Orders: Ollie Tyreman

I remember the Ollie Tyreman of 2002, the overly keen young lad from Padiham that wanted nothing more than to one up Ben Grove, literally jump off buildings, front board massive rails and enthusiastically talk for hours about Ben Gilley.

Now in 2008, Ollie works at Central Skatepark in Manchester, is obsessed with the cities musical heritage, has chilled out on the ‘leaping off massive stuff’ route of skateboarding that he was taking, instead finding himself currently playing the role of the well rounded individual who will skate anything. His inability to figure out whether he is aspiring to be Ian Brown or Ian Curtis has spawned the nickname ‘Ian Crisis’, but at a mere 19 years of age, I doubt we’ve seen everything Mr Tyreman has to offer.

Anyway, check out his ‘Last Orders’ now, and thank God the Gilley idolising didn’t last…
